"unable to load dll" dialog on installation

When trying to install BESR 8 trialware on an XP Pro SP2 box I get a dialog almost immediately (after telling InstallShield to go ahead with the non-custom install) with the title of "Severe" and the message "Unable to load dll".  No specific dll is mentioned.  Nothing in the system or app log that I can see.  Any ideas?

You may want to search within your document and setting directory for a BESRinstall.log file to see what error is generated for better assistance; that or your windows event log files.
