Did you know there were a record 19 cyber security attacks per second in 2021? That is more than 623.3 million globally. According to Veritas research, 58% of senior IT leaders do not have a clear picture of either their organisation’s data footprint, or what technology it has introduced since COVID-19 hit in 2020. This significantly increases the risk of non-compliance.
Costs and complexity
According to Gartner, many organisations make significant mistakes in cloud deployments and by 2024, 80% of those with ineffective cloud adoption procedures will overspend by 20-50%. Enterprises need a streamlined, unified data management system across all operating environments.
Sustainability
Many CEOs believe that sustainability issues are important to the future success of their businesses. However, cost can be a barrier to change, and it can be difficult to understand the environmental impact of cloud services. Improving backup strategies, migrating critical applications and data to the cloud, and eliminating non-relevant data are all key to reducing the carbon footprint.
