Hi Actually the Sybase data is in these Disk resourses (/dev/dsk/c1t0d....) so I see no way to use VCS 5.0 without VxVM since VCS 5.0 cannot monitor Disk resources. Regards Vicente

Hi Since NBU 6.0 the only recommendable way to back up catalog is "Hot Catalog Backup". You should disable Cold Catalog Backup by right click on catalog and select only manually initiated. Regards Vicente
