I cannot restore a simple file on my backup exec 2012. My license expired 19 days ago. We are in the process of renewing the license. Is it the problem because of the expired license. Thank you.

I agree with you. Back up the database before deleting the entries. But with this situation, you have to manually to go the database and delete the entries.
