We can double click the archived message and it opens in a new window. It is in this window and in the reading pane that we cannot reply/forward etc.

Yes we have - escpecially when we go into out OWA, when we click on the 'about', we can see the "Symantec EV" info in the OWA too.
Also on the left side pane, we can see "Archive Explorer" so it seems like the extensions are installed.

1. We have ran the EVORT tool which shows all tests as "Passed" in the results
2. We can see that emails have been stubbed (older than 30 days) and we can successfully open these shortcuts in Outlook 2007 client...

Sorry for my ignorance, having little knowledge about Symantec - Is Discovery Accelerator a seperate product to Symantec eDiscovery (Clearwell?) ..?
Ideally we need to journal data for legal hold and compliance reasons.
