We have been seeing certain emails, when viewed in CA show up with what appear to be Chinese characters. However if you open the message to view in it's original format it is in English.
Anyone seen anything similar

Ok, at lease now we know that it isn't CA related. I am going to guess that the sender of the email may use a different language, is that right?
What seems to be happening is that the item's html preview is using the default language even though the email is written in English.
I would recommend opening a case and see if this is a bug.

Can you do a search in the WebApp for one of these items and verify the html view is the same?
Also, is this CA 8 sp4 you are working with here?
