AOFO only on some servers

Hi!

I have a selection list wich take backup of 4 servers. Only one of the servers have the AOFO installed. I get this message in the log:

"AOFO: The required module VSPAPI.dll cannot be found. The Advanced Open File Option may not be properly installed. Reinstall this option, restart the computer, and then run the job again."

Can I have bothe AOFO servers and normal servers in the same Job?

Well, as the AOFO setting is specified at job level, you'd better separate AOFO and non-AOFO servers if you don't want to get those errors.

But, will there be any problems keeping all servers in the same job?

The reason we do that, is the bandwith of the network.

The problem is you will have error messages for that task always due to that. If any day there is a different error it may be difficult for you to realise.

Keeping the job your way is not critical: Backp Exec tries to use AOFO with all the servers involved and, if it is not possible for some of them, will display that message but will try to back it up without AOFO.
