Account Name and/or password supplied is not valid

Backup Exec 10d has spontaneously lost all of the backup clients on my domain.

The backup job exists, but I can't see the domain, much less the servers in it.

If I attempt to add the clients back in manually, Backup Exec doesn't seem to believe that my username/password is valid despite it being a domain account with full admin privileges.

I've lost all of the servers that were being backed up for the last 6+ months.

I need a clue.

I solved my own problem.

Somehow the account name used to start/stop the services were inconsistent for all Backup Exec Services.

DOMAINNAME/USER is the only functional way for the services to work correctly.
