Hello,
I have a B2D to a network drive (External HDD).
We have three different drives, all with the same IP Adres and it has worked the last 2 months, but suddenly it gives problems:
The backup keeps getting failed and it doesn't start anymore.
This is one of the three drives:
The disk is 924 GB and it had 923 GB data on it.
The media set is set to allow overwrite (0 hours overwriteprotected) and allow append.
When I trie to do a backup test the backup stays on Queued and it makes .bkf files of 2 Kb every second.
Now my question is, what can I do about this.
Philip

What your job configured to do when it starts?
It is always recommended to start B2D jobs as Overwrite only. If you want some retention on backup data chose a valid OPP and None Append.
Choose Media Management option as Overwrite recyclable media in target media set before overwriting scratch media.

Is there any media overwrite alert waiting for clearance?

I changed that option and it looks like that is working, but I'll let you know tomorrow
