Encountered where I couldn't get a job un-paused. Followed all suggestions I could find on this site and the web with no joy.
Decided to try to just run repair using the CD I orginally install with and get a "msi is not a valid installation package"
Decided to just do a re-install and I get "Symantec Bacupexec version 12.5.2213 is installed on this computer. A version of Backup Exec later than or equal to 10.1 is required to upgrade."
Tried to uninstall and that fails also.
Okay fine, bought Backup_Exec_2012_14.0_SP1 figuring I probably should update anyhow, but then when I try to install it I get to the point of selecting location for database and get "The install failed with an unexpected error:value cannot be null. Parameter name:path"
Help????
