We have an old Storagetek L80 libuary, with lto2 drives, And i wanted to know if backupexec 12.5 will work with it?
Also we run netapp filers. running ontap 7.05 (upgrading to 7.3.1 soon) these will deduplicate the data to save space. Can backupexec store this data to tape in its de-duplicated state (block level) or will it re-inflate it?
I am sure I will have some more questions as well before we upgrade to version 12.5 but unless it can support the library, and hopefully the de-duplication via NDMP then its not going to be very usefull for us.
