Backing up Citrix Metaframe XP servers

I've noticed slow performance backing up Citrix Metaframe XP servers: 197MB/min while in other servers with same hardware backups up at 540MB/min. There are special considerations when backing up Citrix servers?

Hi,

I have four Dell Poweredge 2850 servers all with same characteristics: two of them have Citrix Metaframe XP installed and the other two are simple file servers. Citrix servers are backed up t a 270MB/min and file servers at 581MB/min. I'm trying to resolve why backup performance is lower in Citrix. Any idea?
