We have BackupExec 11d running on Win2k3 R2 server and have one folder we can't seem to back up. This folder is shared and set up for DFS (which are the only differences i can see.), i'm thinking it might be something to do with DFS??
I can backup all other files\folders on the server fine.
We have another server running BackupExec 11d and can back up the contents of a remote DFS enabled folder ok. The folder that's causing us a problem is on the same server as the BackupExec 11d installation.
I select the folder to back up in the normal way and all looks well, but all it only backs up the DFS details for the folder and not the actual contents.
When backing up the replica folders you need to access them through the Shadow Copy Components --> User Data under the Resource where the replica folders are
