Hello,

I have a problem with Symantec Backup Exec 2010R2, every day the Backup Exec Job Engine Service fails, subsequently, all the jobs fail.

I need to reboot the server to get the service to come back online.

I am having the same issue, occurred with 2010 R1 as well as 2010 R3 sp2 (same server recently upgraded). Windows 2008 sp2 used to backup a small linux environment of three servers. I have a larger envronment (15 linux agents) running along just fine. I'll continue to look around but some direction from Symantec would be nice.

Faulting application bengine.exe, version 13.0.5204.128, time stamp 0x5022e1e6, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6002.18541, time stamp 0x4ec3e3d5, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x00067967, process id 0xee8, application start time 0x01cddd545b470181.
