Is the vxa-2 format supported under v10.0, if so how do you install drivers for it?

I use a VXA-2 with BE 10. Use tapeinst.exe. It is one of the BE directories. Set the device to 64K, 64K, 32, 0 in device manager of BE.

Hi,

ExabyteVXA-2 appears in the hardware compatibility list of Backup Exec. You can take a look at it here http://support.veritas.com/docs/274348. To install the drivers you can either use the tapeinst.exe or choose to install them during the installation setup of Backup Exec. While installing updated drivers from VERITAS later on, you need to run the .exe file inside the driver download packet.
Here is the link for the latest drivers from VERITAS for Backup Exec 10.0 :

The server requires a reboot after drivers are installed. We hope this helps you. Do revert if the issue persists.
