Backup exec 12.5 agent for Fedora 9

Hi

Can somebody let me know what agent can be used to backup fedora 9 . Can i use theRALUS Remote Agent to backup fedora 9

Any ideas

No, RALUS does not support Fedora distribution of linux. Please consult software compatibility list for Backup Exec 12.5 to identify the supported versions. You can find software compatibility list in following url:

Although, you may want to test RALUS with it, as it has code similar to RHEL, it may work, but would not be officially supported.

That would be an unsupported way, by installing RALUS on Fedora 9. I haven't tested it personally, may work. But, again will not be supported by Backup Exec officially. It may have other issues, so would not be a permanent fix.
