Backup exec 2012 1 backup : many servers

We are attempting to transition from backup exec 2010 R2 to 2012. One of the issues we're having is that in 2010 we applied 1 backup to many servers in the selection set this hugely simplified many things for us and guaranteed consistency accross the many servers. 

How do I get that same functionality without creating an individual job for every single server?

Not possible at present with BE 2012. Upcoming release of BE will bring that functionality back.

Thought so. Fortunately, we are only testing at the moment

Unfortunately, with more than 5 servers it becomes completely and utterly unmanagable... What was symantec thinking? We haven't found a single feature that's beneficial yet.
