Over several versions (11 12d and 2010) of BackUp Exec I have the services lose the logon account information. I usually just go in under the Backup Exec Services Manager in Services Credentials. Then I restart the services. This forces me to leave the password on the server to continuely reset it.
Right now I am using 2010 R2 and the same problem that has been happening for years keeps happening. Sometimes it might be from Windows Updates but most of the time it's not.
Why do the services keep losing the credentials/password?
