Bengine.exe crash when backing up SQL 2008 Express

Hi,

 

I'm getting bengine.exe dying all the time when backing up an SQL 2008 Express install on a remote server (running on Server 2008 x86). Job monitor just showing 'Sanpshot Processing'. Other SQL 2005 servers backup ok.

 

Running 12.5 after recent upgrade, smae error on 12.0 occurred.

 

Any ideas how to fix it?

On the remote server look for this file bedssql2.dll in \Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\RAWS.  WHat is the version of this file?

Hi,

 

bedssql2.dll has File version : 12.5.2213.0

 

So looks like the correct version.

Have you selected AOFO in SQL job? Uncheck that
