Cannot open an existing selection list

Hi,

 

i'm having trouble opening a selection list on a BE 2010.

when i try to open it it ask for a user password

i have this password for this userbut it does not work, it might be that the password has been changed and i do not know the old password.

is there a way to open this selection list?

Hi Florin,

 

Go to Network --> Logon Accounts and make sure that the BESA account you use (the Default account) isn't set to restricted. If it is, remove it and try opening the selection list again.

thanks for the answer but, it's not set to restricted...

any other thoughts :)

...check and make sure that the account isn't locked out in AD.

nope, it's not locked...

also changed the password for this account in the network tab to reflect the new password and restarted the services.

only explanation i can think of that the selection list is still locked with the old password

i've set all accounts to common and after was able to open the selection list.
