Discovered that when you install the license keys for Oracle, SAP then the setting shows up under Job Defaults.

I have not yet installed the license keys for these products, could that be the reason why it does not show up?

Yes if you want to backup application like Oracle or SAP you need to have license for same
You can check 2 link below when you install license for SAP and oracle on Media server by going to tools-install -option and license keys

On top of having to install the appropriate licences, you would have to set up the jobs on the Oracle side, not in BE. DBA-initiated jobs as the name implies is initiated by the Oracle DBA. They just make use of the BE facilities like tape drives, etc. You would not see these jobs in BE itself. There is a long and complicated section in the Oracle agent chapter in the BE Admin Guide detialing how to set up DBA-initiated jobs. Do read that section. The Admin Guide can be found in the BE installation directory.

Thanks for answering but I don't think you understood my question.
In BE2010 under Tools, Options, Job Defaults - DBA-initiated job settings is not in the list.
