DLO Client computer producing excess logs

We're running Backup Exec 12 DLO 338B61a, and the client computer is using the client version 3.1.338.7401.
The server is currently set to retain logs for a minimum of 14 days and delete the oldest log files when the combined size exceeds 1 MB.
That said I have one Computer that has 23GB in the .logs folder for only 14 days. The average size of each log file is about 9.5 MB and each day includes multiple entries. For yesterday alone there 215 different log files totaling 1.84 GB
As a comparison there is only 1.91GB of actual backup up data.
The client computer also regularly receives delayed write fails which point to her backup file indicating that her files aren't being backup up properly.  Now this only happens on wireless and the coverage is spotty in her area so this may be a different issue, but I wanted to include it just in case there's a correllation.

Thank you for the help.

Does anyone have any ideas for this problem? I've done some research on this and I can't find anything that approximates the error's that this person is seeing.
