Device Paused

My backups were working fine until this morning when I noticed in the Job Monitor that Job Status displayed "Missed". I rebooted the server, and the job status changed to "Device Paused". It doesn't display it as paused in the Devices tab. I removed the drive from the Drive Pool and added back, and I still get the same problem.
Any help appreciated.

Two thoughts come to mind.
1) Are all the Backup Exec services running, specifically Job Engine and Device and Media services.

2) Has the tape drive been replaced recently?
You may need to run the 'Configure Devices' in the Device Configuration Wizard.

Backup Exec tends to keep previous devices in its database even after a reboot. If you backups are referencing the replaced drive your backups will not run.
