Is this a single tape, or part of a multi-tape backup set? If the latter, inventory all the tapes in the set
If a single tape, may be time for VooDoo tech support
Shut down BackupExec services
Rename the \Catalogs folder (to \Catalogs.sav for example)
Restart the sevices (a new \Catalogs folder should be created)
inventory and catalog again
(Don't forget to rename the original folder back to the default name)
