Hi William, sorry to hear about your issue.
This snapshot error usually points to a cluster backup already being in process. Could that be the culprit? When backing up a virtual machine or files that reside on a CSV, Backup Exec prepares the CSV for backup to avoid data corruption. During the preparation, the controlling node is moved and pinned to the cluster node on which the backup runs. If two backups of different virtual machines on the same CSV are set to run at the same time, one of them will pin to the virtual node and the other will fail.
If that's not the case let me know. Will maybe need more configuration information of the job and Cluster/VM setup.
