Full and Differential Backups Duplicated On The Same Tape After Disk to Disk

I am using version 12.5 of Backup Exec with an autoloader.

Is this possible? The full D2D(disk to disk) duplicated to tape is working fine, but I am running into time constraints.

Sun full D2D duplicate to tape
Mon diff D2D duplicate Sun full D2D and Mon differential D2D to tape
Tue diff D2D duplicate Sun full D2D and Tue differential D2D to tape
Wed diff D2D duplicate Sun full D2D and Wed differential D2D to tape
Thu diff D2D duplicate Sun full D2D and Thu differential D2D to tape
Fri diff D2D duplicate Sun full D2D and Fri differential D2D to tape
Sat diff D2D duplicate Sun full D2D and Sat differential D2D to tape

Having only one tape containing a complete backup (full or full+diff) being transported offsite daily is the goal. Looking to ease confusion at the offsite location as well so they send the right tape back. Impossible or improbable? Next best option?

Thanks

Don't think that you can automate what you are trying to do, or at least not very easily

You can use the provided template for D2D2T each night, and this is no problem at all.

As long as the tapes are well labeled, you should be able to specify the last FULL and last DIFF when requesting tapes be returned from offsite.  Not quite as elegant as both on one tape, but very simple to set up in BackupExec
