Having issues with HP RDX and BUE

I need to know how to get the disks to erase before each backup job so it will stop expanging across 2 disks.

Using RDX 160GB Disks

SBS 2003

BUE 12.5

Total backup is 60.8 GB

Job specs are set to overwrite media, but it doesn't seem to be doing that.

Click on Tools->Options->Media Management -> Select "use recyable media before

overwriting scratch media"
