How can I find out remotely if the tape in the tape drive is overwriteable?

I wish to use email notifications (preferably from an Inventory Job) to find out if the tape in the drive is overwriteable. Is this possible from a job log?

You can use E-mail notification to send the job log of an inventory job, however, the job log will not provide the information whether the tape in the drive is overwritable only alerts will prompt for an overwritable media.

Thank you for your response. I had to setup notifications to email me when writeable media needed to be inserted.
