Are you able to access your NAS share from the media server?

Mapped drives won't work because they are not available when the console user is logged out.

As such use UNC share paths - or attach as an iSCSI LUN instead of as a mapped drive to use a NAS as a B2D location

Hi there,

You can create a shared folder on your NAS device and use the same path while configuring a Backup-to-disk folder.

For E.g: \\NAS\sharename

This should work, you can also use the IP address of the NAS device. E.g: \\192.168.1.45\sharename

If this answers your query please Mark it as a solution..

Thanks!

Do check the HCL for your version of BE to ensure that the NAS is a supported device for B2D folders.  At a minimum, test it with the B2DTest utility below.
