How to migrate Backup Exec 2010 R3 to another server with BE2012 with a different Windows OS version

Hi Guys,

Please help, how can to migrate Backup Exec 2010 R3 to another server running BE201 with new name and different Windows OS version.

Irrespective of the answer to your actual question: best Practice is upgrade to BE 2014 from BE 2010 and NOT BE 2012

Reason for this is if you upgrade to BE 2012 all of your jobs will be migrated to one job definition per server and it will in effect destroy your multi-server jobs. If at a later date you then go to BE 2014 it cannot re--assemble the multi-server jobs for you, you would have to modify them all manually
