This issue is usually seen if the account with which you have logged into the server does not have proper rights. try to login in to the server with the account which has Domain Admin rights and then try the installation.

@sush,  Sry fr the delayed reply. That user account which we used was an Domain admin account and also user was logged in as that account. All user assignment rights was given still i was not able to figure out due to what reason it got frozen at the user name and password screen.

Have you checked the BKUPINST.HTM the installation log file?? May be there could be something in it that we can resolve.

Also check the Event viewer to see if there are any events generated.
