Inconsistant Email Alerts

I am not able to receive any email alerts from Backup Exec, however I am able to receive my test emails that I initiate out of Backup Exec.  I have all the alert categories assigned to me, so I know I should be getting alerts daily after my daily backup jobs complete.  I know that the email configuration is configured correctly because I am able to receive test emails.  Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I've been having the same problem for nearly a year using 9.1 Rev. 4691; however if I reboot the machine or manually stop/start the services I receive emails.  I've tried deleting jobs and that hasnt helped either.  If you find an answer or please share and I will also.

Do you have the "Limit number of notifications..." setting turned on?  If you set a limit, but don't set a proper Reset time, then you would experience the problem you mention about intermittent (or even non existant) notifications.
 
That would be where I would start.  It's on the recipient properties screen.
