Install Error.

Hello,

I've a Veritas Backup Exec 9.0 and 10. I can't install it in my server. The 9.0 works fine in the same server but now I upgrade to Windows 2003.
The Windows 2003 it's domain controller. The error in the event viewer its:

Event ID 1015

Source:MsiInstaller

Failed to connect to server. Error: 0x800401F0


The MSDE 2000 don't install it. I do thats:

but the error persist.

I degrade de DC, and the install of MSDE works but the install of Veritas roll back again.

This problem I have in 9.0 and 10.0

In VBE 9.0 i don't found error in the log and in 10 have one error, installing "Veritas Update".
I've running the install in Terminal Server.

Please refer to the technote given below

(title) During the installation of Backup Exec (tm) 9.x and 10.x for Windows Servers, the following error prevents Backup Exec from installing: "ERROR: Internal Error 2755. 1612, \VERITAS Backup Exec For Windows Servers.msi."
