Installation - Setup terminated due to an error (28)

Hello...

We continue to get an error of "Setup terminated due to an error (28)" when trying to install BE 10d on a windows SBS2003 server. We have done this very same installation multiple times and never had an issue.

I do ahve a copy of the installation log file in a text file for a willing viewer.

Hello,

Are you running a fresh installation of Backup Exec on the machine?

Have you started the installation over the terminal services?

Ensure that the System and the Backup Exec Service Account full control on the target folder where you are installing Backup Exec, on the source folder where you have copied the installation files and on the Temp and the Installer folders in the WINDOWS folder. run the installation after that.

- Are you installing backup Exec on an existing SQL instance or on a MSDE instance?
