Installing Backup Exec 2012

Is it advisable to install both Backup Exec 2012 and Enterprise Vault 9.03 on the same server ?

My existing BE2012 is residing on a very old server.

Planning to migrate to a new server but due to budget constraints, I am force to plan whether I can install the software on the EV server.

The specs of the EV server are as follows

Windows 2003 Enterprise

Quad-Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 2378 2.4Ghz

16GB Memory

11TB HDD.

I am not aware of any reason why BE 2012 cannot be on the same server as EV.  Perhaps you should post this question on the EV forum and see what the people there say.

...the only thing I can think of is port conflicts, so check which ports both applications use, and if need-be, change 1 of them to something not in use.

if so did you get a error code of some kind?
