When you use Intelligent Disaster Recovery to recover a server, is this server then stable and ready for production use? Or, is it just to get you backup and running again till you have time to rebuild the server from scratch?
Our exchange server is on its last leg, so yesterday we tried the IDR for that server on a new machine, new hardware. It appeared all of the drivers were installed except ethernet drivers. This box is not in productin yet, but I am wondering what else may not be installed. My real question though, is once you do the recovery, can you consider this box ready for production or is there more to do or is it just to hold you over. Is there any more documentation?
