Recently had to change out a faulty LT03 drive with a replacement, and also replaced the adaptec SCSI card for the connection. This has been running on Backup Exec 2010 R3 (v 5204) and before the hardware was replaced I got decent write speeds to tape, however since replacement, and no OS level drivers or any settings/configuration changes, the jobs seems to max out at 7MB/minute where I was usually getting an average of 350-500MB/min and at times even much higher than that?
What could have happened?
