Load XML failed.

Hi

I am running Windows 2003 SP1 with Exchange 2003 SP1 and backup exec 9.1 sp3

I get errors like this whenever i open a job log:

Load XML failed. Reason: A. Error on line 132, position 97 in "f". C:\Program Files\VERITAS\Backup Exec\NT\Data\BEX00039.xml

I have installed MSXML 4.0 SP2 parser and SDK and it hasnt fixed the issue

Can someone please advise?

I know you've already updated XML, however scroll down, check out the "Re-register the DLLs" section. Have you tried that yet?

I ran into the same issue, so I configured the Backup Exec account to notify me and send a backup log to my email account. It is sent in html format, and I can easily open it. This way I don't have to go through Backup Exec to open the log files
