I'm searching in Veritas site and on google, but I can not find a clear answer on my question....
We installed a BE 2015 infrastructure, with many sites, on each site a BE server, and a separated media server (disk and/or tape).
In case of BE server failure, actually it's a little bit complicated to restore the complete BE server, and we will have to regenarate the backup catalog....
I know that SDR could help us to restore it, but for the catalog, it should be done after each backup session....
My questions are about the CASO (in a separate site), in case of managed server failure, if the media server is separated from the managed BE server:
Are we able to restore anything from the CASO to the distant site?
If we do reinstall "from scratch" a new managed server, is it possible to get back the catalog from the CASO?
