Migrate Storage Replicator backups to Continuous Protection Server?

We have been using Storage Replicator for many years to backup our offsite servers to a single server at our headquarters.  We have now built a new CPS server that will perform the same function.

Is there any way to move the hundreds of gigabytes of data from the Storage Replicator server to the new server, without CPS having to start over?  Some of our servers would take 20 days or longer to fully replicate if we have to start again.

As far as I know Storage Replicator and CPS are two totally different technologies developed in different ways  (CPS originally came from Replication Exec)

As such I don't think that the data is stored in a compatible way to allow it to be indexed by CPS and I am not aware of any conversion tools.
