Migrate from BE 12.5 to BE 2010

Be 12.5 (with latest live updates) W2003 Ent x32

200+ Jobs,

300+ tapes in a tape library, + offsite

Hardware very, very old (now on its last legs , and will not last much longer)

Be 2010 R3 with latest live updates W2003 Ent x64

We need to move onto this server very quickly, but cannot find any information on how to do this i.e from BE 12.5 to BE 2010 , we have tried to use BE copy jobs, via BE copy command on both 12.5 and 2010 , but this does not work , times out , no errors we can see, but we can connect to the new server from the old, and vice averser any advice tips/ would be welcome, as we need to keep same jobsd/ / media sets etc…

The most easy way will be to update the current setup to 2010 and the run the above steps to migrate to the new server.
