Hi Experts,

I was looking for a solution if this scenario is supported,

I have a backupexec 2010R3 on Windows 2008R2 Server.I have a Dell Powervault LTO-5 FC Library with 4 drives connected.I want to Add an Additional Library,I had already purchased an HP MSl 8096 FC Library..All the Physical Connectivity has been completed.

I cannot view my HP Library from the Device manager, however i can see the drives ,upon restarting the backupexec services i can find only the drives but not the  library and Slots,I can view only One medium changer(My Old Dell tape Library) a

Is this scenario supported, can i use multiple tape libraries on a single media server.

Thanks in advance...

Yes you can use mutiple tape libraries (with proper LEO license for additional tape drives)

BE will not detect the hardware untill its not detected by Windows.

Hi,

Check your zoning and make sure that's correct first-off.

If that is correct, and Windows doesn't see it, then you need to troubleshoot that...

Thanks!
