Currntly testing (downloaded evaluation software) backup exec 2010 R3, main exec is on Windows 2008 std server and also have linux remote server. Installed both remote agent and main exec 2010 OK but when connecting to remote server I see server is online but cannot see any 'structure' to apply/create backup job?
Maybe we miss some install proceedure but we followed administrator guide steps?
Main question: With the downloaded trail/evaluation version I understand we can evaluate ALL system options so no license is required for either the main backup exec 2010 application or for the remote agent for Linux? is this correct>?

If no license has been installed then all Agents and Options are available for trial 60 days....
What happens if you try to add the Linux server through an user-defined selection...also ensure the RALUS services are running on the Linux server after the agent install..

Not all Linux variants are supported. Check the SCL below to see whether your variant is supported.
