Problems -is Backup Exec 2010 R2 compatible with MS SBS 2008 SP2 and .NET framework 4?

Hello, we have recently updated Small Business Server 2008 R2 to SP2 (wit subsequent updates) and installed .NET framework. Since about that time, we are facing several problems. 1.on some ocassions beremote.exe process is failing this seems to be related to start of the backup job, or start of the tes run job. Please, see also the attached application event log file (event IDs 257, 34113) 2.backup jobs doesnt fully finish the backup with no apparent reason. The last job run was running for several hours while the amount of backuped data stoped to raise and on the screen we got the error message (file BE 2010R2 error.png). The backup jobs are all cancelled as timed out, running for 10hours completing about 90% of the data, but doing nothing for several hours before the job is cancelled. Th trouble is, that there is no failing backup selection that can couse the job not to complete -it is once Sharepoint, once System state...... any idea would be helpful. thank you Roman Cernovsky

On pg 16 of the SCL when SBS is mentioned, Server 2008 SP2 is not included.  See the SCL below

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH137682&actp=search&viewlocale=en_...

For the other versions of Server 2008 R2, like Enterprise, etc., they are supported as media servers.

According to the SCL released yesterday, 2008R2 is supported as a media server

if not already installed, 2010R2 will install   Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 SP1

Can't find anything related to Net Framework 4.0.  I'll set the support flag for this thread
