Remote Admin Console doesn't remember settings

My remote administration console doesn't remember settings like it used to in v9.1. For example, when connecting to a BE server, the drop down selection list is always empty. 9.1 had the entire list remembered. Also, resizing frames for various displays (Job Setup, Job Monitor, Devices, etc.) are forgotten. I'm always having to resize them each time I run the console. This is extremely annoying and time consuming. Is there something configured improperly, or does v10 not remember your settings?

I have the same issue along with the "Evaluation" on the Remote Admin Console Splash screen.

Is there already a fix for this problem? It's "investigated" for quite some time and you would think that a fix is available.

Regarding the Remote Administrator user name, password and domain name is there a way that I could "hardcode" this somewhere? I always will use the very same user id and password to logon to the backup server.

Hello,

As mentioned in the technote, To make a remote connection, manually type the remote media server name to be connected to. This process must be performed any time an initial connection is attempted through the interface.

This is not an enhancement it's an error that has already been acknowledged by Veritas (see before mentioned BK 277418).

I just was wondering when it finally gets fixed.

Hello,

What release of backup exec are you using? In case you do not have 10.0 5520, install it from the following link:

Yes, I'm running 10.5520 with SP1, still the same problem.
