Hi,
I am having issues recovering VCB's to a new DR enviroment. THis is what i want to accomplish:
- Recover full VMware functionality at a DR site from scratch using BE 12.5 onto ESX 3.5update2.
What i have backed up:
- using the BE vmware agent, i have selected all the VM's through the Virtual Center server.
What i have done:
- Installed BE with vmware converter and consolidated backup
- Installed a fresh ESX box
Problems:
- First issue i seem to have is since that i backup all the VM's though the Virtual Centre, when restoring it seems that the Virtual Center has to exist.. ie: says resource not found. So basically i installed Virtual Centre with the name it required just to get past the issue
- Now the main issues is that once the RESTORE starts importing the VMDK files to the ESX, i get this error: 0xe0009563 timeout occured attempting to send a command to Virtual centre or ESX. V-79-57344-38243.
- I have gone through the posts regarding a similar error when trying to browse a datastore, which i can do.
Please assist, i must have something wrong along the line?
