Retrieve Search not working

Retrieve Search and Recent Activity -functions are not working. Anyone having same problem? Search just doesn't return any hits. No errors are displayed.

I can use Browse -function and browse through all my shares. I can also use search -function in CPS console without any problems.

OS: Windows 2003 R2 SP2
BE: 11d with all hotfixes

I have the same setup as You. And search is not working either :(

I have the same setup too and the search is not working. I opened a Case 290-887-978 with Symantec but so far all they have done is collected some logs.

In some cases when all of the above items are confirmed, the SEARCH/RECENT ACTIVITY section of BERetrieve will still fail to return any results. The cause of this is currently under investigation by Symantec. The workaround at present is to use the CPS Administration Console's Search feature for files needed for restoration.

Above is part of a document Symantec support send me when I reported this error.

In other words - they haven't got a clue about what's wrong. They did promise me though to send me an email if they ever get a patch or something!?!?!
