Service Pack 1 Refuses to Install

605502825
Not applicable
I am trying to apply SP1 to Backup Exec 10. The installer opens fine, runs for a while and then pops up a message saying "the wizard was interrupted before VERITAS Backup Exec for Windows Servers could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. "

There are no other error messages that I can see. How am I supposed to apply this important patch if the installer itself fails to work on Server 2003?

Hello,

You can refer to the following technote:

The wizard was interrupted before Backup Exec 9.x or 10.0 for Windows Servers could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To install this program at a later time, please run the installation again.
