Shadow Copy Components are corrupt

2 forums with the same problem , but not realy a
solution.
Could it be a problem from the Backup Software, from my point of view, it looks like.
i tried already all possible listed solutions, but still have the same problem.
What can i do further??

Hello,

As we have metioned in our replies in the beforum links which you have referrred, have you Run sgmon.exe found in C:\program files\veritas\backup exec\nt directory?

Then run the backup of the Shadow Copy Components - once it fails, check out the sgmon.log found in the backup exec\nt\logs directory - it should give some indication where the error is.

Are there any errors occured?

To isolate the cause of the issue try taking a backup using NT backup and then verify the result.

1.Create a new backup job.

2. Select the entire "Shadow copy component" for backup. Do not select individual components under the "shadow copy components" for backup.

You do not need the AOFO option to backup the shadow copy components they use the Microsoft VSS by default to be backed up.
