I have this issue on one of our 15 BE servers, and I have no idea why. Nothing about this issue shows up in the event logs on either the CASO (NTPA), or the BE Server (CRY). We are using a Quantum SuperLoader 3 at that location, using the latest Veritas drivers. Each job fails on that server, and I am graced with the following message:
(Server: "NTPA") (Job: "CRY SL-CRY Policy-Mon-Thurs Library Backup") CRY SL-CRY Policy-Mon-Thurs Library Backup -- The job failed with the following error: The job could not be delegated to the destination managed media server. The managed media server may not be online, or there may be a communications failure. The job will be recovered.
The job log was not available to be included as part of this notification.
